The most ancient beverage in the history of mankind is possibly tea. People have been drinking this hot aromatic drink for more than 5000 years. Tea owes its origin to China and it was drunk as a medicinal beverage in the past. This is because both black and green tea has several health benefits. Tea reduces chances of stroke and heart attack, makes our bones strong and also lessens chances of cancer of various types. Since tea does not contain caffeine, it is a better beverage than coffee.
